As the owner and LPC-Supervisor of Saname Counseling, I’m honored that you’ve chosen to connect with us. My passion for creating lasting healing for women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ folx fuels my work, and I find deep meaning in helping clients experience real, transformative relief. In our inclusive and affirming space, I offer both short-term solutions and long-term support, always with the goal of fostering lifelong healing.

Our work together begins with equipping you with the tools and skills you need to create meaningful change in your life. As we address immediate concerns, we also delve deeper into trauma healing, self-exploration, and enhancing the mind-body connection. My sessions are rooted in empathy, compassion, and a practical approach that encourages self-awareness and meaningful growth—perfect for high-achievers, perfectionists, and those ready to let go of the need to be in control.

With years of experience, I am skilled in providing tailored treatment plans, even for clients who have previously struggled to find success in therapy. By investing in sessions with me, you’re investing in yourself and your future. This is a space where your well-being is the priority—where you can step away from your caretaking responsibilities and focus solely on your own growth and healing.

If my approach resonates with you, I invite you to schedule a consultation today. We’re here to support you on your healing journey.

First-Generation Entrepreneur and Therapist Inspiring Growth and Healing

As a first-generation college graduate and a woman of color, I founded Saname Counseling to bridge mental health gaps and create a space of belonging for women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ communities. My journey reflects the values that drive Saname Counseling—belonging, community, growth, and excellence—and has included recognition such as the Corpus Christi 40 Under 40 award for my professional and community impact. Prior to starting my practice, I was honored with the Circle of Pride Award for going above and beyond in my role on a college campus of over 300 employees, and I was selected as one of 20 participants in the Next Generation Leadership Academy to cultivate emerging leaders.

In launching Saname Counseling, I combined my personal experiences with my professional expertise to serve clients with a deep understanding of their challenges. My academic journey includes graduating Magna Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University and earning a near-perfect GPA in my Master’s program. As a published author and a speaker at over 15 conferences, I have built a career dedicated to advancing mental health and education.

At Saname Counseling, we emphasize belonging by creating a space where every client feels seen and valued, foster community through strong relationships and support, encourage growth through lifelong healing, and maintain a standard of excellence in everything we do. If you’re ready to take the next step in your healing journey, I invite you to schedule a consultation today.
