Do racing thoughts, anxiety, and restlessness take over your day and making decision-making difficult? Do you find it hard to manage your mind and body? Many of my clients grapple with intense emotions, fear of abandonment, and often react explosively. They may resort to drinking, smoking, shopping, or sex as impulsive ways to cope. Forming and maintaining relationships can be challenging due to past traumas related to sexuality, family, or religion, manifesting as overwhelming thoughts and feelings that seem hard to control. If you often experience overthinking, guilt, shame, self-loathing, and exhaustion, know that change is possible.
Together, we will enhance your self-awareness, heal past wounds, and build resilience. My aim is to support you in embracing your unique identity and navigating life’s challenges with confidence. Whether you’re looking to understand your emotions better, improve your relationships, or enhance your overall well-being, I’m here to support your journey.
Therapeutic Approach:
1. Somatic Therapy: I incorporate body-focused techniques to help you connect with and process physical sensations, promoting deeper emotional awareness and healing. By understanding the connection between body and mind, we can work through trauma, stress, and emotional blockages more effectively.
2. Interpersonal Therapy: Building strong, empathetic relationships is at the heart of my practice. Together, we’ll explore your interpersonal dynamics, enhancing your communication skills, and fostering healthier connections with others.
3. Experiential Therapy: This approach allows us to engage in active, experiential techniques to uncover and address underlying issues. Through creative expression, role-playing, and other experiential methods, we’ll work on understanding and transforming your internal experiences.
4. Parts Work: I use Parts Work to help you identify and integrate different aspects of yourself, including those that may be conflicting or disowned. By fostering self-compassion and understanding, we work towards creating a harmonious inner system.
5. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): DBT provides practical tools for managing emotions, improving relationships, and building a more balanced and fulfilling life. We’ll focus on skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
What to Expect:
In our sessions, you can expect a warm, supportive environment where your experiences are validated. My goal is to empower you with tools and insights that will facilitate your growth and healing in and outside of our sessions. Whether you’re navigating past trauma, struggling with current stressors, or seeking personal development, I’m here to guide you through a collaborative and enriching process.

Personally:
I love grounding through art and movement. Relaxing for me lately looks like making bracelets for the next concert I’m attending, walking my 2 yr old dog, practicing yoga, and coloring new scenes from the Bobbie Goods adult coloring book. I’m your friendly neighborhood neurodivergent book worm who frequents the monthly art night and is often glued to a Spotify playlist. Novelty and creativity is essential in my day-to-day life and I love bringing that into my therapy sessions.
